Day 39

Today's Challenge

It was once said of a church: “May our church be a place where the hurting, the hopeless, the discouraged, the depressed, the frustrated and confused can find love, acceptance, guidance and encouragement.’” That’s what we should be striving for as a church family.  To help us achieve this goal we need to invite these people into our fellowship.  Today we encourage you to find the broken, helpless, and weak and invite them to join us Sunday. Let us be a blessing to them!  Let us minister to and pray for them!

Today's Bible Reading

Revelation 8-15

Today's Bible Verse

“Come to me, all of you who are tired and have heavy loads, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)

Today's Prayer

Pray that those who visit your church will be warmly welcomed. Pray for our country.

Today's Devotional

In your notebook, journal your thoughts about spending time with new people.  What could we do to be more effective ministers?  Are we seeking to serve?
