Learning to Pray Like Jesus

The gospels reveal to us that Jesus spent much time in prayer during his ministry here on earth.  However there are only seven instances where we have the actual words of His prayers. These can be found in Mathew 11, Mathew 26, Luke 23, John 11 and John 17. This new series will take us into an in-depth study of each of those prayers.  We will strive to answer for ourselves these questions:

• What is the context for these prayers?
• Why does scripture record these particular words of Jesus?
• What is Jesus praying for?
• Did God answer his prayers?
• How can I use Jesus’ words to assist me in my own prayers?
